Love this chapter, especially Sherlock's 'data collection' on John.
Glad you like it! I loved the TV series description of Sherlock's mind being like a harddrive if only because it's so much fun to take that metaphor and stretch it to breaking point. He has his John folder at this point but it's less organised and more fragmented than other folders so when he tries to transfer too much data into it all the while running too many analysis programs (on the data which is mid transfer as well) while updating his internal software to take into account the connection to a new piece of hardware he's stuttering to a halt like a microsoft computer. Basically everyone needs to just walk away from him and get themselves a cup of tea while his processors catch up. ...And I think that's pretty much the limit to which I can push that metaphor!
